I have been interested in movement from a young age through fitness and dance. In 2010 I was drawn deeply into the path of healing through my studies in shamanism and movement in my first Hatha Yoga class in NYC. Something profound shifted inside me that day when my mind quieted for the first time and I became truly present in my body. It was in this moment that I realized the great potential of body, mind and spirit healing available to us. In 2012 I took the first steps of embracing a career in holistic healing by completing my 200hr training with Yoga to the People. In 2014 after relocating to Austin I continued in my journey with my 500hr Massage Therapy Training at The Lauterstein Conway School. Since then, I have continued my training in San Fransico at Psoas Massage and Bodywork with notable teachers such as Marty Morales and Art Riggs, and most recently, with the Rising Spiral team. I see the emotional, energetic and physical body as interconnected systems that, when in balance, allow an individual to thrive in optimal levels of health and vitality. My bodywork style is created with this goal in mind and uniquely formulated to meet the differing needs of each client. I begin each session with the Rising Spiral Assessment and my practice is rooted in structural deep tissue combined with active-assisted stretching and myofascial release. I am certified in Reiki and utilize this to work on an energetic level to open up the space for an individual to take full ownership of their body in their personal healing journey.
